The ̽̽’ (̽̽) “Hamon ng Himig” music tutoring program was successfully launched at the Music Hall of the ̽̽ College of Music, Diliman, Quezon City on April 8. The program offers ̽̽ students across campuses, especially those residing in ̽̽ dormitories, free guitar and choir-singing classes from April to June 2024.

A pioneering initiative of the ̽̽ Office of the President, Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA)–Office of Student Development Services (OSDS), in partnership with the College of Music and the Student Affairs units across the ̽̽ System, the “Hamon ng Himig” program aims to enhance students’ musical skills while promoting their overall well-being and holistic development. The organizers further aim to harness the transformative power of music in cultivating meaningful connections and resiliency among ̽̽’s constituencies, while promoting balance in the students’ academic and artistic endeavors within the University’s diverse and nurturing environment.
