A View to a Kill: A Book Talks with FH Batacan

The Likhaan: Institute of Creative Writing of the ¶¶Òõ̽̽, will be hosting a book talk with journalist and novelist FH Batacan on April 29, 2024, 10:00 a.m., Room 1131, Pavilion 1, Palma Hall, ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Diliman, Quezon City.

According to the Likhaan, Batacan was a fellow in the 1996 National Writers’ Workshop in Dumaguete. She is also a winner of two Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature, including the 1999 Grand Prize for the English Novel. This was for her book Smaller and Smaller Circles, which was published by the ¶¶Òõ̽̽ Press in 2002.

Batacan would go on to win several other awards, including the Manila Critics’ Circle National Book Award in 2002, the Madrigal-Gonzales Best First Book Award in 2003.  Read more about her with this .
